Local first by default.
Lentara is built so documents stay in the browser unless you explicitly choose to share something. Public scanning, library browsing, packet organization, and payoff math are designed to start locally rather than behind an upload wall.
What stays local
- Files you drop into Lentara during ordinary public use.
- OCR text, classifications, and packet state kept in your browser for local guidance.
- Session context used to help you resume from the same device.
What may be shared if you choose
- A small summary and your contact details when you ask for guided help.
- Selected files only after you explicitly open a secure-share or packet-upload step.
- Billing and payment details through Stripe when you purchase a service.
Public page measurement
Public pages may use Google Ads measurement to understand campaign traffic and conversion setup. This does not change the local-first document rule: document files and OCR results are not uploaded to Google Ads by the scan tool.
What we do not promise
We do not promise silent uploads, hidden posting, or background filing. Consent-gated outbound action is a product rule, not a marketing slogan.
Email support@formhaven.com with your Packet ID if you need help.
Official free options remain available through StudentAid.gov and loan servicers. Lentara is a paid prep and coordination layer.
